Hi,
I really like "Simple Image Gallery" plugin, so I'm trying it.
Unfortunely I'm not having success showing images. When in an articole I putthe image gallery is not shown, I simply see the text  {gallery}mygallery{/gallery} .
Because of this, I'm thinking I made some mistake configuring it, but I didn't find what is the problem.
The "Address" of the gallery is right, my server have the GD extension correctly installed, the plugin is enabled, I don't see any error in Chrome's debug console, cache directory is writable (i even tried 777 permission) ...
I'm using Joomla 2.5

Unfortunely I cannot provide a link where you can see the page as I'm working in a local VM.
Could you suggest me some other things to check in order to let the plugin works?

Could you provide us with a link to your gallery page?
Make sure that you don't use bold letters and of course that you have enabled the plugin.

I too have this problem. The site was built with Joomla 1.5 - Virtuemart. Only {gallery}gallerypics{/gallery} will show up. When I do get them to go away, all I get is a square with a "broken link" X and a text link. The text link will show the larger image but no thumbnails.

This site was built on a GoDaddy server and then moved over to Network Solutions. The GoDaddy test site is still running fine. I even deleted the plugin and article page and then reinstalled the plugin and page on both sites with the same result. The test site on GoDaddy is fine but the site on Network Solutions is still broke.

I pulled up the backend of both sites to compare the plugin pages. The settings are identical with only 1 change. The logo for JoomlaWorks is showing on the test site but the production site only has a text link with no image.

Thanks Katia I solved my problem.
I don't know why ( i didn't investigate for the moment, but I'll do later) but I had to intall the plugin on my locale test server and then copy files in the remote server. Doing this everything works.

DDany - glad you got yours working. I'm not sure what the deal is with mine. I pulled the database twice and reloaded it. As I stated before, I've downloaded, deleted and re-uploaded the files, pages and picture. I'm just not sure what is up. I guess I'll just keep looking and hope someone has an answer.

Well shoot.....the customer forwarded their domain to my test server till I can get this worked out. Let me get the other web address for you.
